Van Community Centre – Volunteer Rules 

1. General Conduct 

All Volunteers must follow the VCC Code of Conduct at all times. 

All Volunteers must follow the VCC Kitchen Rules when using or working in the kitchen area. 

2. Access to the Community Centre 

Only Committee Members are permitted to hold keys to the Centre. 

Only Committee Members may open or lock up the building. 

3. Use of the Community Centre 

Only Active Committee Members may have limited free use of the Centre. 

Free use is restricted to: 

One free event every 6 months 

A maximum of 3 free hours per event 

4. Definition of an Active Committee Member 

A Committee Member is considered Active if they meet both of the following criteria: 

They commit to regular volunteering at the Centre. 

They make themselves available for monthly Committee meetings. 

5. FeePayable Events 

All Committee Members—active or otherwise—must pay the standard entry fee for any feepayable events held at the Van Community Centre (e.g., Clairvoyance Evenings).
